Assistant Interior Designer Birchwood Upto 25,000
Our clients, a professional service company have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Interior Designer to join their Interior Design Department working on a fast growing portfolio of diverse projects.
The chosen candidate will be working within their expanding ID department and work alongside Architects on various different type of project (Schools, Future Factory, Museums, Retail/Leisure, Commercial Office Accommodations, and Pharmaceutical)
The ideal candidate will be a self motivated individual who enjoys working as part of an ambitious team. This candidate will also have 3 to 6 years post graduate experience, be conscientious, creative and enthusiastic with the desire to progress their career.
Key Duties:
General understanding of ID design process stages from concept brief taking to working drawing that can be carried throughout a project, fulfilling key design objectives & client criteria’s.
Demonstrating concept designs and analyse a suitable solution that could be implemented - Initial researching, concept sketching, space planning, Product & Construction Knowledge
You will also carry out site surveys, technical drafting, producing sample board and final presentation boards/Documentation
It is essential that you have building regulation knowledge – (Part M critical), experience from working within a multi disciplinary environment and experience of working on multiple projects at one time.
The ideal candidate will have a BA (Hons) Interior Design, Drawing skills (especially for communicating ideas through design stages), Technical Drafting experience, be able to producing sample and final presentation boards. You should also be proficient with AutoCAD Photoshop, and PowerPoint
An attractive salary of upto 25,000 is on offer for the successful candidate.
